Valentine's Day at jones the grocer

Try a couple’s cooking masterclass, special menu item or a set menu with glass of bubbly  

Dubai, UAE, January 27, 2016:   jones the grocer is offering special couples cooking masterclasses across three of their locations, a scrumptious special menu between 8-28 February and an unmissable set menu offered between 12-14 February.  

The couples cooking masterclasses will feature pan seared scallops with homemade squid ink fettucine and sautéed Swiss chard. The masterclasses are hands-on with each participant working at their own station, learning to prepare and serve the dish with the guidance of a skilled jones the grocer chef. Classes are 695 AED per couple and are being held at Al Manara in Dubai on 12 and 14 February, at Al Raha in Abu Dhabi on 13 February and Khalidiya in Abu Dhabi on 14 February.  

The special valentine’s menu is on offer between 8 – 28 February and includes striking dishes like; baked mango Greek yoghurt with pistachio & cardamom granola, coconut tuile and fresh passion fruit for breakfast; wagyu bresaola with saffron aioli, grilled zucchini, rocket and feta sesame bagel; smoked tomato soup topped with whipped burrata, basil oil and chives; pan seared scallops with warm cauliflower couscous and endive salad with curry oil pine nuts and raisins; crispy duck maigret with croquette, carrot purée, roast beetroot, sautéed kale and charred baby leek; pan seared tuna steak with black olive, sun dried tomato and caper risoni pasta with rocket pesto. There are also special desserts including; chocolate and cherry eclair and raspberry and rose heart macaroon.

A selection of the dishes above (excluding the breakfast and sandwich) can be enjoyed as a three course set menu between 12 – 14 February for 149 AED or 169 AED with a glass of bubbly.*
