Longines Returns to the Meydan Racecourse to get the 2015-16 Racing Season Underway

Dubai UAE, December 7, 2015:  Luxury Swiss watchmaker, Longines marked an elegant return to the Meydan Racecourse to present a six-race card on the 3rd of December, 2015. As the Official Partner and Timekeeper of the Meydan Racecourse, Longines hosted this exclusive evening to commemorate the beginning of the exciting 2015-16 racing season that lies ahead. 

It was truly an evening rife with elegance as Longines kicked off the racing season with a six-race card, worth AED880,000 in prize money and witnessed Purebred Arabians make a seasonal debut at Meydan with the AED160,000 Mazrat Al Ruwayyah Prep race held over a mile. The event also heralded the upcoming Dubai World Cup Carnival that will commence on the 7th of January, 2015 and culminate with the highly anticipated World’s Richest race, the Dubai World Cup.
