Recapture Your Kasbah - Dream Your Nation, Paint Your Dream!

Dubai, November 12, 2015:   Wrapped in patriotic imagery, adorned with images of leadership, celebrations of heritage and culture, draped in national colours, the nation is gearing up to mark its 44th National Day. The UAE celebrates the day of pride and patriotism in many wonderful ways.
 
Under the patronage of Sharjah Book Authority and Sharjah International Book Fair, TMG is proud to mark the occasion with the third edition of ‘Design a Cover’ Contest (DACC). The third edition of the contest offers a unique opportunity for talented UAE schools and children to showcase their passion for the nation, with the theme Recapture Your Kasbah - Dream Your Nation, Paint Your Dream. 
 
Kasbah is an important part of the history and heritage of the region and a source of pride. The participants are free to explore their creativity and interpret Kasbah in their own innovative thoughts. They can recapture traditional facets of culture, national symbols and icons of pride to exhibit and refine their creative and imaginative skills.
 
The competition will be held on 14th November 2015 at Expo Centre, Sharjah. It encourages children between the age groups of 3-5, 5-8, and 8-15 to demonstrate their creative best. Winning entries will adorn the covers of TMG Children magazines - Mekids Junior, Mekids and The Youngest.
