ZUK Smartphones launched in Middle East

Dubai, October 28, 2015: ZUK Smartphones makes its debut in the Middle East with the launch of its chic and stylish smartphone.
A new entrant in the mobile scene with its first device hitting the shelves in August this year in some of the key global markets, ZUK is backed by the well-known technology conglomerate, Lenovo Group. Although a part of Lenovo Group, ZUK is an independent brand. Upon revealing its maiden mobile device Z1 in August, the brand received an overwhelming response with over 3 million pre-orders in the first week in China, the world’s largest market. Pronounced as ‘Zi.U.K.’ the brand is set for launch in key European & South East Asia markets in the coming weeks.
Built and designed as ‘the smartphone for heavy users’, the 5.5 inch Z1 has a Cyanogen OS, 1080P display with 401ppi resolution and is powered by a Qualcomm 801 processor. The phone boasts a 3GB RAM and 64GB ROM, packed with enough memory for seamless operation and diverse storage content. ZUK will be pioneering with USB 3.0 and Type-C as a global first. In a segment where battery life is one of the key factors, the Z1 packs a powerful 4100mAh battery which can sustain through the day even with the most frequent users. With Dual SIM & Dual standby, Z1 supports the WorldMode LTE ie FDD-LTE and TDD-LTE plus a host of other networks giving it a unique positioning as a truly Global Phone.

Other key features of the ZUK Z1 are its sturdy aviation aluminum frame, home button integrated with multiple functions including fingerprint sensor. The 13-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel wide angle front camera exhibits great clarity and performance.
Initially available in grey and white colors, Z1 will initially be sold exclusively on Souq.com - the region’s leading e-commerce retailer.
