GITEX Shopper 2015 winner leaves with brand new car

- Mitsubishi Pajero Elite the grand prize at region’s biggest consumer electronics retail show
Dubai, United Arab Emirates - 12 October 2015: Visitors at the region’s biggest consumer IT and electronics show are usually accustomed to leaving with a new smartphone, TV or tablet, but Indian National Abdul Muneer left the 25th anniversary of GITEX Shopper with something much bigger - a brand new Mitsubishi Pajero Elite. All visitors who purchased an AED 30 entry ticket were eligible for the grand “Visit and Win” prize, which was awarded on the final day of the show, Saturday 10th October 2015.
The car was one of many exciting giveaways won by Shoppers at GITEX Shopper alongside four kilos of gold worth more than AED 550,000, 25 special 25th anniversary gold coins worth AED 110,000 and five ultimate travel voucher worth AED 225,000, as well as eight university scholarships worth AED 280,000, latest gadgets and much more.
The show brought together powerhouse brands and retailers such as Dell, Emax Electronics, Jacky’s Electronics, Jumbo Electronics, Lenovo, Plug Ins, Sharaf DG, Samsung Gulf Electronics and Toshiba, and provided shoppers with incredible deals and bundled offers on more than 35,000 tech products, home and lifestyle appliances and gadgets.
The dates for next year’s GITEX Shopper editions are confirmed - GITEX Shopper Spring will take place from 30 March - 2 April 2016, and GITEX Shopper 2016 from 1 - 8 October 2016.
