IPM 2015 & WOP 2015 to open tomorrow

The 7th edition of the International Perishables Expo Middle East (WOP DUBAI), the GCC region’s only dedicated exhibition for fresh edible food and the 10th edition of the International Plants Expo Middle East (IPM DUBAI), the most important plant show in the Gulf region, will kick off tomorrow (Monday, October 5, 2015) at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC). To be held from October 5 to October 7, 2015, the exciting three-day event, organized by planetfair, will feature over 300 exhibitors coming from 30 countries—throwing the spotlight on the rapidly growing and vibrant global perishables and horticulture industries.
According to planetfair senior executives, both events are expected to draw in over 7,000 participants and will act as strategic platform to exchange best practices and explore potential partnership opportunities. WOP DUBAI 2015 is being held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, UAE Minister of Finance and Chairman of Dubai Municipality. IPM DUBAI 2015 is being organized under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman of Dubai Airports.
WOP DUBAI 2015 will feature important topics like fresh produce safety, fresh produce trading, technical equipment packaging, transport and logistics and discussions on fresh produce services. The event will also showcase 14 country pavilions, which includes Australia, Belgium, China, Egypt, France, Italy, Kenya, Mauritius, Moldova, Morocco, Portugal, Poland, Spain and Rwanda. Meanwhile, IPM DUBAI 2015 will be showcasing key exhibitions, demonstrations and talks on timely industry topics such as plants, technology, floristry, garden features, logistics, plant maintenance and garden & landscaping. This year's event will be showcasing eight country pavilions, which includes China, Egypt, Ethiopia, Germany, Kenya, Mauritius, Sri Lanka and the USA.
