Bateel Opens First Flagship Store at Dubai's The Walk at JBR

Dubai, UAE, 28 September 2015 – Bateel, a leading brand in gourmet food with a presence in over 14 countries, is delighted to announce the opening of its first flagship store at The Walk at JBR. The expansive new venue, covering 7,000 square feet, is the first in the world to bring three Bateel elements together under one roof, combining the boutique, bakery and café to offer guests an exceptional, one of a kind gourmet experience.

Since its introduction in 2007, Café Bateel has created a name for offering an elevated casual dining concept, with a unique and innovative range of premium foods and beverages, reflecting an Italian-Umbrian heritage and a rich tradition of Arabian hospitality. All breads and patisserie items are created in the Bateel Bakery. Here guests will discover exceptional artisanal breads, all baked on site from 6am until midnight. Favourites include the signature date bread, French baguette or the Levain, crafted from organic, yeast-free flour, as well as French inspired patisserie items.
The retail section of Bateel at The Walk at JBR showcases an exhaustive selection of own-brand products, from luxury gifts to pasta sauces and olive oils. Tina Memic, General Manager, Bateel Retail adds:
