Sizzling international line-up confirmed for Taste of Abu Dhabi

- Food Network’s Reza Mahammad, Siba Mtongana and Jenny Morris confirmed, alongside Master Chef India champion Nikita Gandhi
- Legendary reggae band The Wailers set to headline festivities with international hits including ‘One Love’, ‘Buffalo Soldier’ and ‘No Woman No Cry’

20 September 2015 – Abu Dhabi, UAE: Taste of Abu Dhabi will take visitors around the world with a sizzling hot international line-up of culinary and musical talent set to take centre-stage at Yas Island’s du Arena from 5-7 November 2015.

The al fresco food, drink and music festival will open with legendary reggae band The Wailers, who will entertain visitors with their world-famous hits including ‘One Love’, ‘Buffalo Soldier’ and ‘No Woman No Cry’ on the Entertainment Stage.

Adding to weekend’s international flavour, Food Network stars Reza Mahammad, Siba Mtongana and Jenny Morris are now confirmed, as well as Master Chef India champion Nikita Ghandi. ‘Spice Prince’ Reza and Nikita will create their signature Indian cuisine at the OSN and Food Network Chef’s Theatre and Quooker Cookery School, whilst Siba and Jenny showcase critically acclaimed South African-inspired dishes.

These latest additions will be in good company joining French Master Patissier Eric Lanlard, British TV chefs Valentine Warner, Steven Edwards and Josh Stanzl, as well as Arabian cuisine expert Suzanne Husseini.

Visitors will also enjoy a specialist cheese and grape feature, VIP lounge and Funky Monkeys Kids Zone, as well as the festival’s first Premier Family Lounge, featuring Arabic treats and an on-site henna artist.

Taste of Abu Dhabi will offer a variety of cuisines from 25 restaurants including: Atayeb, Avasa, Al Gusto, Barocco, Belgian Beer Café, Blue Grill, BOA, Café Dalsace, Caramel, Carluccios, Flooka, KOI, Nolus, Peppermill, Prego’s, Royal Orchid Restaurant, Safina, ShoCho, Teatro, Villa Toscana and Zambar.

New partners have also signed up to support the event including: Geant as the hypermarket sponsor, Tavola as the kitchenware sponsor, OSN and Food Network as Chef’s Theatre sponsors, and Quooker as the Cookery School sponsor.

Taste of Abu Dhabi takes place at du Arena on Yas Island from Thursday 5 to Saturday 7 November 2015. The festival will run from 4 – 11pm on Thursday, 12pm – 11pm on Friday and 12pm – 10pm on Saturday.
