Dubai, August 03, 2015: Medcare Hospital, the premium private healthcare provider in the UAE, announced that the facility has been empaneled with the Dubai Government-funded Saada Health Insurance Program for citizens. This tie-up will ensure the Emiratis in Dubai access to the highest quality of services and care offered by the best of doctors on board at Medcare facilities.
HH Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, launched the Saada smart scheme last month aimed at providing health cover in private hospitals for Emiratis with no previous government or private insurance coverage. A large number of citizens have enrolled for the plan.
Medcare Hospital is first among the private hospitals in the emirate to be empaneled with the Saada Insurance program. The citizens, who are with registered with the Saada scheme, only need to show their Emirates ID cards to avail benefits of the smart health coverage program at Medcare facilities.
Commenting on the tie-up with Saada insurance plan, Mr. Ala Atari, CEO of Medcare Hospital, said, “We are glad to receive Emiratis, who are enrolled for the Saada scheme, at the state-of-the-art facilities of Medcare and provide them the best in class medical treatments available in the region. As a premium private hospital in the region, Medcare extends its full support for this Dubai Government initiative.”
“Highly skilled doctors and non-medical staff at Medcare will ensure comfort care to citizens in a tranquil environment designed to meet every medical requirement of the patients. Medcare Hospital has developed a unique healthcare system, which promotes excellence and support towards the achievement of highest standards in preventive, curative and rehabilitative healthcare,” he added.
“Acting as a center of excellence, Medcare became the first medical facility in the new Dubai area offering advanced medical care and emergency services through the synergy of cutting-edge medical technology, and highly qualified medical professionals of multinational and multi-lingual background. With improving policies and regulations, the authorities always support and encourage the private sector players to develop their healthcare capabilities and infrastructure,” Mr. Ala further said.
The 67-bed acute care multi-specialty hospital in Dubai’s private sector is located in Jumeirah and provides care by internationally recognized specialist doctors. Strategically located in the heart of Dubai to offer easy access to all areas of the UAE, Medcare operates state-of-the-art facilities including Medcare Hospital, Medcare Orthropaedics and Spine Hospital (MOSH), and a number of peripheral Medcare Medical Centres across Dubai.
