Sophisticated Fun: Christopher Kane's Autumn/Winter 2015 womenswear collection arrives at Bloomingdale's-Dubai

Dubai, July 20, 2015: Continuously going from strength-to-strength, celebrated womenswear designer Christopher Kane is forever astonishing the fashion world and keeping us hooked on his sublimely cool designs. From 2006, Central Saint Martin’s alumnus Christopher Kane has long since established himself as one of fashion’s most exciting and innovative luxury designers, with a unique talent for developing new fabrics and shapes. 

The pull of attraction infuses the Autumn/Winter 2015 Christopher Kane womenswear collection, which is now available in the Women’s Designer Department at Bloomingdale’s-Dubai. Sumptuous fabrics in a rich ‘night-life’ colour palette form a foundation for experiments in silhouette and decoration. "Everything I do essentially comes from drawing; it ultimately reflects how I feel," stated Kane in his show’s notes.

Unlikely combinations abound; high-shine chainmail is inset with stylized floral Swiss lace, tulle is printed with life-drawn figures in glitter; slim-cut black coats with velvet lapels in rich blue and ruby red. Accessories also make an intriguing impact with bold, colorful handbags featuring a reflecting, mirrored surface.

Christopher Kane’s Autumn-Winter 2014/2015 collection is now available in the Womenswear Department on the First Floor at Bloomingdale’s-Dubai, The Dubai Mall.
