Tory Burch Opens First Boutique in Qatar and Egypt

Qatar - Tory Burch announced the launch of a boutique in Doha, its first freestanding store in Qatar. The 190-square-meter retail space opened on April 23rd at the Lagoona Mall, a premier luxury shopping destination. This follows the success of the brand in the Middle East, with boutiques in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait and Lebanon.

The store’s façade is distinguished by green awnings and orange lacquer doors, Tory Burch signatures, as well as oversized light boxes featuring the brand’s lifestyle images. In keeping with the aesthetic of other Tory Burch stores, the custom-designed interior has a residential feel — oak and marble floors, raffia walls and gold leaf chandeliers offer a neutral backdrop for a sophisticated mix of furnishings, including sea foam silk drapes, teal velvet sofas and blue-and-white embroidered pillows. 

A wide assortment of the Tory Burch collection will be available at the Lagoona Mall boutique, including ready-to-wear, shoes, handbags, small leather goods, watches, jewelry, eyewear and other accessories.  

Tory Burch launched in 2004 with a small boutique in Manhattan’s Nolita neighborhood and the designer’s classic but bohemian aesthetic resonated with tastemakers from the very beginning. Over the past decade, the company has grown into a global brand with more than 140 boutiques around the world. Art, music, travel, interiors and the designer’s own stylish parents are inspirations for the collection. 

Egypt -  Tory Burch announced the launch of a boutique in Cairo, its first freestanding store in Egypt. The 160-square-meter retail space opened on July 7th at City Stars, a luxury shopping and entertainment center. This follows the success of the brand in the Middle East, with boutiques in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Lebanon and Qatar.
