Real estate organisation announces results from second week of its Ramadan Arts Competition
[Dubai, UAE, July 11, 2015] – Two more wasl tenants have scooped a great prize each in the company’s annual Ramadan Arts Competition. Dubai’s leading real estate organisation has announced the results from the second week of its annual contest, which runs over the course of the holy month and is designed to celebrate the creative endeavours of wasl’s residents of all ages.
Omnya Mohamed Izzeldin took top prize in the Ramadan Children’s Painting Competition and was awarded a brand new iPad for her winning submission. The contest for junior wasl residents is open to children up to 13 years-of-age, with entrants uploading their artistic efforts to the company’s website. The submissions are then voted on by visitors to the site, with one winner receiving an iPad for each week of the four weeks of the competition.
First place in the second week of wasl’s competition for adults was Shadab Khan, who scooped an Apple TV for her entry. The Ramadan Instagram Photography Competition is open to wasl residents over 13 years of age who upload their images onto social media photo sharing site Instagram. Each entrant is able to upload an unlimited number of photos using #waslRamadan2015 and mentioning @waslgroup. A total of four Apple TVs are available to be won throughout the month.
wasl's holy month activity for it tenants encourages them to paint and photograph what they feel is the true spirit of Ramadan. So far, there have been 31 submissions for the Children’s Painting Competition painting and 122 posts (at the time of writing) for the Instagram Competition. The company will be giving away two more sets of prizes before the close of the contest. One winner out of the four from the wasl Children’s Painting Competition will be awarded a grand tuition cash prize to use towards their school fees.
