UAE, July 8, 2015 - Dubai Autodrome, a multi-purpose sports facility in the UAE, invites citizens and residents to participate in its free weekly evening event - ‘Train Dubai’ – to lead a healthy and active lifestyle during the holy month of Ramadan. Organized by Daman’s Activelife, a health and wellness initiative with a difference by the National Health Insurance Company – Daman, the event complements Dubai Municipality’s awareness campaign highlighting the importance of exercising after Iftar and dinner.
Richard Birch, General Manager, Dubai Autodrome, said: “We want the people of the UAE to improve their fitness and stay healthy, especially during Ramadan when they fast for over 15 hours. These weekly trainings support Dubai Municipality’s new awareness drive about the importance of exercise after Iftar. We urge people to make use of the free facility by indulging in physical activities such as cycling, running and walking after their evening meals to lead an active and disease-free lifestyle.”
‘Train Dubai’ evening allows visitors to cycle, run or walk on Dubai Autodrome’s 2.46 km long floodlit Club Circuit. The free-of-cost facility is available every Wednesday from 7.00 pm to 10.pm and will continue even after Ramadan. Bicycle riders are advised to bring helmets for their safety as Dubai Autodrome follows a strict ‘No Helmet, No Ride’ policy.
