Man'oushe Street and Uber - Dubai to donate free Iftar meals

July 02, 2015 - In line with celebrating the Holy Month of Ramadan, Man’oushe Street, a popular Middle Eastern restaurant that serves traditional, home-styled street food, has announced its latest tie-up with Uber - Dubai, the local arm of the international transportation network company, to donate free Iftar meal packages to laborers and Uber partner drivers. Under the initiative, Uber riders can simply enter the promo code ‘UberIftar’ via the Uber mobile app, which represents a donation of one free Iftar meal that will later be distributed to local both Uber partner drivers and laborers across the emirate.

According to the company’s senior executives, Man’oushe Street will be donating hundreds of free Iftar meal packages (Manakeesh) daily for the duration of the Holy Month of Ramadan—allotting the meals for both the Tecom and Burj Views area. The strategic location of these pick-up points gives drivers the advantage of going for prayers at a nearby mosque and taking Iftar before resuming work. The free Iftar meals demonstrates Man’oushe Street’s continued commitment towards implementing key CSR initiatives and programs across the communities they operate in.
