British Creativity Lands in The Middle East
Last Update: Thursday, July 2, 2015 : 03:11 (+4GMT)
British entrepreneur, John Wilford, has launched a new marketing agency, JW International (JWI) to serve the Middle East region. This new business will be based on the same ethos as its sister business in the United Kingdom, Rave Communications.
Founded 15 years ago, Rave has become one of the most respected, enduring and awarded independent agencies in the UK, working with brands like Cadbury, Graco, Warwick Business School and IRWIN Tools. It has built a reputation for outstanding creative thinking, delivered with professionalism and care. It is these same principles that are the foundation of JWI.
The JWI team has been delivering strategic marketing projects in the Middle East region since 2014. These have included product launches, retailer events and sales promotions in both English and Arabic. JWI’s office in the Dubai Marina was formally opened in April 2015.
JWI has already secured a number of client wins in the region, including Electrolux (domestic appliances) and Access One (building access and security). The agency will deliver an integrated marketing solution, in traditional and digital media.
John Wilford, JWI’s Managing Director, says: “We are delighted to have opened a new strategic marketing agency in the Middle East. The region is a land of opportunity where true entrepreneurship is rewarded.
JW International will bring cutting-edge, exciting and arresting creative, delivered with passion and professionalism. We value long-term partnerships with clients. We all get a great deal of satisfaction from helping our clients achieve success.”
Wilford adds: “Our strapline, it takes great people to do great things, really sums up our approach. We recruit the best talent. All of our team are intelligent, insightful and imaginative and care about creating outstanding results for our clients.”
Joining John on the management team of JWI is Charli Ball, who was previously Senior Account Manager at Rave Communications and is now permanently based in Dubai.
