Yoku Moku continues regional growth with three new stores in the UAE

Latest developments are part of strategic GCC expansion plans

17 June, 2015, UAE: Yoku Moku, the leading Japanese confectionary brand, is pleased to announce the opening of three new stores in the UAE, further consolidating its GCC presence. The new outlets are located in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Al Ain respectively and reflect the continued success of the brand with Middle Eastern audiences following the opening of a Kuwait store in April 2015.

Yoku Moku believe that making their luxury Japanese confectionary is a creation, not a production, from the finest high quality ingredients since 1969. The brand has developed to encompass over 300 stores across the world and is best known for its all-natural, freshly made light butter cookies.  The signature Yoku Moku offerings include the Cigare, a vanilla flavoured, butter-rich rolled cookie, and Bateaux biscuits which offer a flavourful crunch with a sprinkle of rich nuts. The Bateaux de Pistachio are created exclusively for the Gulf region, they provide a harmony of shortbread biscuit, chocolate filling and pistachios or macadamia nuts for flavour influenced by the gourmet preferences of the Middle East consumer.

Yoku Moku is brought to GCC by ALSA lifestyle & Apparel LLC, the retail arm of Al Sayegh Group.
