Blind Symphony

Fully immerse the hearing senses with Blind Symphony, a one-of-a-kind concert and new way to appreciate sound taking place on 13 September at The New Covent Garden Theatre, Mall of the Emirates. The concept is making its Dubai debut, inviting audiences to listen without the distraction of sight. Guests will be given special light-blocking masks before entering the theatre, where the evening unfolds in complete darkness.

A chamber ensemble will perform using rare instruments from around the world, creating more than 70 distinct sounds with works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Arvo Pärt, Philip Glass, Max Richter and Ludovico Einaudi. Following successful performances across Europe and the United States, Blind Symphony is designed to heighten the senses, allowing audiences to focus on every vibration, rhythm and musical detail.
