Svetlana Zakharova - Gabrielle Chanel Ballet

Get ready for an unforgettable show as renowned ballerina Svetlana Zakharova, the top performer at Moscow's Bolshoi Ballet and Milan's La Scala returns to Dubai Opera on 17 May for a special, two-part ballet evening. She will be joined by a star-studded cast of dancers from the Bolshoi Theatre.

The opening act is Come Un Respiro (Like a Breath), a set created specially for Svetlana by Italian choreographer Mauro Bigonzetti, based on the music of baroque composer George Frideric Handel, with exclusive costumes by Helena de Medeiros. The second part, Ballet Gabrielle Chanel, is a tribute to the legendary Mademoiselle Coco Chanel with 80 costumes designed for the piece by Chanel's artistic director Virginie Viard.
