Dubai Esports and Games Festival

The Dubai Esports and Games Festival (DEF) will return to Dubai from 22 May to 7 June, with a number of exciting events and tournaments taking place across the city. Get ready for the biggest and most immersive edition yet, with exclusive meet-and-greets, unreleased game previews, world-first glimpses and more.

What’s on at Dubai Esports and Games Festival?

One of the key highlights of DEF, GameExpo, will take place at Dubai World Trade Centre in Halls 6, 7 and 8 from 5-7 June, offering families and gamers an opportunity to enjoy an extended long weekend celebration after Eid Al Adha. The new venue offers a larger, more connected space, featuring over 300 games, 100+ devices, expanded zones and enhanced immersive experiences. 
 
Play the latest releases, enjoy the classics, catch cosplay competitions and shop from 80+ local artists including anime and manga vendors at The Narrows - a dedicated shopping zone designed to empower local artists, designers, pop-culture creators and businesses.
 
Three new zones have been added to this year’s showcase including Neo Tokyo District, an anime zone featuring immersive photo ops, themed installations, interactive activities and must-have merch. Plus, challenge your friends to laser tag at the Battle Arena and at the brand-new Velocity Garage zone, get ready for high-octane motorsport experience featuring a variety of simulators with a central showcase vehicle.
 
The venue will also host this year’s Dubai Cosplay Championship on 7 June. Transform into your favourite character to take part in an electrifying, high-stakes competition with a massive prize pool of AED50,000 on the line.
