    40 tons of live honey bee land at Ras Al Khaimah Airport for the first time in 2019

    Arab region exports USD 518 million worth of fertilizers to Brazil for H1

    UAE, 21 July, 2018 - The Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) has revealed that USD 518 million worth of fertilizers were exported by the Arab region to Brazil from first six months of this year. According to the ABCC, the high number of fertilizers exported from the Arab region into Brazil demonstrates the strong ties maintained by countries like the UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Bahrain and Egypt among others. In fact, Kuwait hits USD 58.64 million worth of fertilizers exports to Brazil, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia exported USD 48.13 million, while UAE USD 42.87 million, Egypt USD 32.53 million and Bahrain posted USD 24.88 million.     Ministry of Climate Change and Environment Launches Awareness Campaign for the Implementation of Ministerial Decision No 501 of 2015 Regulating Fishing and Trading of Sheri and Saf

    Consistent with the breeding season from 1st March to 30th April,  Dubai, UAE: 17 February 2018 -   The Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE) has launched an awareness campaign for implementing the Ministerial Decision No 501 of 2015 regulating the fishing and trading of Arabian Sheri (emperor fish) and Safi (rabbitfish) during the breeding period starting from 1st March to 30th April 2018.  The decision stipulates that trading of local or imported Sheri and Safi fish is prohibited in fish markets and outlets during the breeding season of every year in the country. Importing and exporting of these fish in any form (fresh, frozen, salted, smoked, packed) is also not allowed during this period. The Museum, a distinctive facility and a unique hub for soil education, will be the first of its kind in the Gulf Cooperation Countries (GCC) and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) regions.
