Park Regis Kris Kin Dubai Appoints Senior Sous Chef to Strengthen Culinary Team

The superb culinary team of Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel, Dubai, is further strengthened with the addition of seasoned Chef Ian Walke, who has been appointed as Senior Sous Chef.
Just before joining the Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel, Dubai, Walke was working as Head Chef at St Tropez Restaurant, the French Bistro located at the Mall of Emirates, Dubai. He has carved a niche for himself in the city by presenting French classic cuisine with a modern twist, while leading a team of ten chefs. He was earlier working as Head Chef at Fraiche Bistro & Restaurant in Dubai, serving French, modern British and European cuisine.
Mr. Scott Butcher, General Manager of Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel Dubai, said that Chef Walke is a great addition to the team. In his new role, Chef Walke's main responsibility will be to assist the executive chef in the overall kitchen operations particularly in Le Metro, Grandstand and Room Service.
He said, “Chef Ian Walke’s extensive experience in five star properties in various countries as well as on luxury cruise liners will help our culinary team better understand the preference of our guests who come from various parts of the world. His expertise in French, British and European cuisines will certainly add to the reputation of our restaurants.”
Walke is a British national who obtained NVQ Certificate in Hospitality and Catering from the West Kent College, Kent, UK, in 1999. During a career span of 16 years, Walke has worked with leading restaurants in the UK, Australia, France and Italy, as well as on the luxury cruise liners Costa Mediterranean of Italy as well as Fred Olson Cruise lines – MS Balmoral and P&O Cruises’ MV Aurora and MV Artemis of UK, before coming to the UAE.
Some of his important assignments include Senior Sous Chef at Ashdown Park Hotel, Ashdown Forest, UK; Sous Chef at The Bella Luce Hotel & Restaurant, Guernsey, UK, and as Sous Chef at The Grand, Jeresy, UK.
