Yoku Moku Confectionary Opens its Doors in Kuwait

31 March, 2015, Kuwait: Popular Japanese Confectionary brand Yoku Moku is pleased to announce its latest store opening and first branch in Kuwait, located on Beirut Street, Kuwait City. In Yoku Moku’s third year of strategic alliance with Alsa Lifestyle & Apparel LLC and operation in the region, the addition marks the 20th store in an increasing portfolio, highlighting ongoing success and paving the way for further brand expansion.

The opening took place in the presence of the Japanese Ambassador, Mr Toshiihiri Tsujihara, who was welcomed by the brands strategic partner in Kuwait, Dr Hamad Al-Hasawi, Secretary General of the Kuwait Banking Association; Mr. Ehab AL Bakri, Alas Lifestyle & Apparel, and the exclusive distributor for Yoku Moku in the region Mr. T. Fujinawa. An intimate group attended the auspicious ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday 24 March, set amongst a colourful display of Yoku Moku’s finest products.

Yoku Moku showcases light butter cookies make with the freshest and finest ingredients and no preservatives. The concept of the confectionary is based around the idea of spreading happiness and joy, with all the products based on traditional Japanese baking methods. Signature items include biscuit Cigare’s and Billet’s, perfect for gifting around special celebrations such as weddings, baby showers and seasonal celebrations.
