Emirates Post Group welcomes high-level delegation from Egypt Post

Dubai, March 8, 2015: Emirates Post Group welcomed a high-level delegation from Egypt Post led by Mr. Khalid Ali Naj’m, Chairman of Egypt Post, as part of a visit to view the operations and IT systems of the Group.
The delegation was received by Mr. Fahad Al Hosani, Acting President of Emirates Post Group and CEOs of subsidiaries within the Group.
The welcome speech was followed by a detailed presentation on history of the group, its growth strategies, focus on quality of services and diversification plans.
Mr. Abdullah Mohammed Alashram, CEO of Emirates Post, while highlighting the key achievements in postal fields, remarked that the priority was to deliver services based on customer needs and driven by the goal of exceeding customer expectations, with the objective of making Emirates Post Group one of the key players in the postal industry worldwide.
The delegation undertook a tour of the Group’s various units and was briefed on the results of corporate restructuring and integration. The delegation was also introduced to EPG’s POS system that integrates all services across the country, and the operations system adopted in post offices. The tour also included a visit to the Ramool Sorting Centre and the Dubai Central Post Office in Karama.
At the end of the visit, the head of the Egyptian delegation, lauded the spirit of bilateral cooperation and expressed optimism over more active postal relations between Egypt and the UAE. He announced that it was agreed by the two sides to form working groups to explore cooperation in five key areas. He also lauded the quality and speed of services offered by Emirates Post Group, which has enabled it to as a leading postal player at the regional and international levels.
