Studio Masr brings Egyptian Cuisine to Dubai

Following popular demand, Crème de la Crème opened the first restaurant in Dubai and plan to have three more restaurants to follow in the next four years 

Dubai, UAE, 4th March, 2015: Studio Masr is proud to announce the opening of its first restaurant in Dubai, after having met with popular demand in Abu Dhabi.  Studio Masr has carved a strong niche for itself with its one and only store in Abu Dhabi that’s situated in the capital’s World Trade Centre Mall.

Studio Masr’s first outlet in Dubai is at BOXPARK, and manages to cater to 80 customers at any given point of time. There is an option for outdoor seating as well, which gives the thrill seekers a chance to enjoy the blissful winter and spring of the emirate. 

“Studio Masr has a huge fan following in Abu Dhabi. The restaurant is often booked out during peak hours, and, hence, we felt the need to widen our horizon. The Dubai store was on the cards from day one, however, it was important for us to gauge the response with the Abu Dhabi store first,” said Saif Ahmed Belhasa, Chairman of Saif Belhasa Holding.

The stunning Studio Masr offers customers the chance to enjoy the best of Middle Eastern cuisine in their backyard. The restaurant chain has thirteen branches across Egypt and one in Saudi Arabia and operates through Crème de la Crème a member of Saif Belhasa holding within the UAE. 

Studio Masr, a leading Egyptian movie-production studio in the golden era of the Egyptian cinema, has been revived into a casual dining restaurant with a cinema based theme. Delivering an authentic cinematic dining experience that is casually elegant yet infectiously fun;the film-production themed restaurant features sets of the most famous Egyptian movies. Some of the dishes have been inspired by past movies and reflect the names of the historic films produced by Studio Masr. The Mediterranean grill offers the most recognized dishes and collective flavors from Egypt, Lebanon, and Jordan.

It’s been one year and a half to the day since we opened our maiden Studio Masr in Abu Dhabi, and the response has demanded us to open our Dubai outlet.”

The restaurant features casual ambience, including a unique collection of movie star portraits under a string of festival lights. The restaurant attracts a highly loyal clientele; it is usually filled with all demographic based customers. The Studio Masr menu is centered on charcoal grill kebab items such as marinated beef, lamb, chicken and seafood. Guests can also enjoy the Jordanian Mansaf, Lebanese Mezza and Studio Masr’s popular dessert, The Ailit Zizi.
