Masafi Inks Deal to become the Official Water Sponsor of Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships

Dubai, 05 February 2015: Masafi - the leading producer of premium drinking water in the UAE and the Gulf region – has announced a partnership with the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships to become the official water sponsor for the 2015 event.
Masafi will proudly be keeping the world’s leading tennis stars and spectators fully refreshed and hydrated during two weeks of top class tennis, when the tournament commences on 15th February at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium in Garhoud.
Televised around the world, the Championships begin with the women’s event featuring top stars including Serena and Venus Williams and Simona Halep. This is followed by the men’s tournament that stars the world’s top two ranked players Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer alongside Andy Murray.
Commenting on the announcement, CEO of Masafi Reginald Randall said: “The Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships has become a hugely popular international sporting occasion loved by the players and spectators alike. Dubai Duty Free’s Senior Vice President Corporate Communications and Tournament Director, Salah Tahlak commented, “Masafi has been supporting Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships from 1998 to 2010 and we are pleased to have them on board again as the ‘Official Water Sponsor” of the tournament. The Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships first began with the ATP men’s week back in 1993 and we have been fortunate to have retained many of the same sponsors since the very beginning and we look forward to our continuous association for many years to come”.
The Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships is held under the patronage of H. H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
