Last Update: Sunday, January 25, 2015 : 18:09 (+4GMT)
January 25, 2015, Dubai, UAE: This Spring, long-time GUESS Girl, Gigi Hadid, returns as the face of the Spring 2015 GUESS advertising campaign. In a departure from the typical array of gorgeous GUESS models, Gigi was shot solo for the campaign allowing the collection and her natural beauty to be the star.
Directed by Paul Marciano, CEO and Chief Creative Officer for GUESS?, Inc., and shot by photographer, David Bellemere, the campaign features an assortment of images shot against a picture perfect backdrop of a private sunny beach in Malibu, California. Gigi is shown embracing her femininity and sensuality while embodying the care-free spirit of the Spring collection. The strong use of natural light allows the sun to reflect upon Gigi’s radiant skin and tousled beach wave hair creating strong feelings of warmth and seduction. The crystal clear ocean and playful poses against the windswept sand enhance the sensual mood creating an alluring collection of photographs.
The campaign features some of the season’s key pieces including romantic eyelet off the shoulder tops and distressed denim in the form of jackets, flared jeans and shorts. Flirty gingham and effervescent floral prints on leather jackets and jeans are eye-catching patterns that welcome the warmer weather and lend timeless style to the collection. The season’s color palette offers a wide range of bold and bright hues that complement the clean white and neutral toned garments. Feminine crochet maxi dresses and hi-low skirts in sexy black and white hues are essential light-weight garments to last you all season long.
The collection is now available in all Guess Jeans stores across GCC.
