Spanish Guest Chef at Nine7one, The Oberoi, Dubai this February

Dubai, January 22, 2015 - Start the year with a culinary bang as two award winning Chefs unite for the first time under one roof. Chef Chema Guerrero and our resident Chef Vishal Khulbe, join forces and reunite after previously cooking up a storm under the guidance of Ferran Adria’s El Bulli. This February we take you through a journey of Spain as we showcase Tapas at nine7one.
 
Chef Guerrero will join forces with our resident Chef Vishal Khulbe, who he worked alongside at the pretigious El Bulli in Barcelona, to bring you the finest in Spanish cuisine. The world cuisine restaurant, nine7one, takes you through the journey of the quaint lanes of Madrid, Bilbao and San Sebastian to diligently orchestrate the finest tapas. 
 
Born and raised in Toledo, Chef Guerrero has worked in many ‘Michelin Star’ restaurants, among them, Martin Berasategui in Italy and Pierre Gagnaire in Paris. He worked alongside Chef Vishal Khulbe at Chef Ferran Adria’s El Bulli- a revolutionary restaurant that has changed the face of Spanish cuisine today. 
 
Chef Vishal Khulbe was born in the Himalayas. In quest to learn more and experience different cultures Chef Vishal worked in some of the best kitchens around the world. From Charlie Trotters restaurant in Chicago to some of the finest restaurants in  Singapore, Dublin, Thailand and then at the El Bulli in Spain. This small journey around the world gave him a great understanding of different cultures, cuisine and an opportunity to learn and work with some of the best culinarians in the world. Chef Vishal joined pre opening team of The Oberoi, Dubai in 2013 as an Executive Sous Chef working alongside Executive Chef Dirk Haltenhof.

•    From February 22nd to February 26th: Chef Guerrero’s Tapas will be available in an A ‘la Carte Menu at Nine7One. From 12:30 to 15:30 and 19:00 to 23:00
 
•    February 18th, 19th, 25th and 26th: Chef Guerrero will feature some of his Signature dishes at Above and Below, our lazy evening brunch at Nine7One. From AED 320 per person, 19:00 to 22:30 
 
•    February 20th and 27th Chef Guerrero will feature his creations at our World Tapas Brunch, Nine7One. From AED 340 per person, 12:30 to 15:30
