Imdaad running team successfully participates in last leg of 7EmiratesRun

Dubai, UAE, December 4, 2014 – Imdaad, a leading provider of integrated facilities management solutions in the GCC, revealed its successful participation in the 7EmiratesRun, a 575 kilometer charity run across the seven emirates. A team of select runners from Imdaad joined the last leg of the charity run from Sharjah to Dubai as part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives and in celebration of the UAE’s 43rd founding anniversary as a nation. Imdaad’s participation reflects its strong commitment towards leaving a positive impact on the environment, consumers, its employees and the communities around them.

The 7EmiratesRun is dubbed as the UAE’s only cross charity run with participants running a total of 575 kilometers across the country in only seven days. The event started in Abu Dhabi last November 21, 2014 and ended in Dubai last December 2, 2014 as part of the UAE’s National Day celebrations. The cross charity run helped raise over AED 1 million for the Al Jalila Foundation’s A’awen fund, which will help UAE patients with critical health conditions who cannot afford medical treatment.
