Al Tayer Motors Hosts William Clay Ford Jr.

Al Tayer Motors, the official Ford and Lincoln importer-dealer in the UAE, hosted William Clay Ford Jr., Executive Chairman of Ford Motor Company and the great grandson of the illustrious Henry Ford at its Sheikh Zayed Road facility. Mr. Ford toured the showrooms and service centres.

He met with Mr Ashok Khanna, Chief Executive Officer; Mr Saeed Humaid Al Tayer, Managing Director, Mr Matar Humaid Al Tayer, Board Member and interacted with members of staff.

Mr. Ford joined Ford Motor Company’s Board of Directors in 1988 and has been its chairman since January 1999. He serves as chairman of the board’s Finance Committee and as a member of the Sustainability Committee. He also served as chief executive officer of the company from October 2001 to September 2006, when he was named executive chairman.
