Dubai – May 13th, 2014: Aligned with the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) initiative to drive government services and citizen engagement on mobile devices, LogMeIn, Inc. a leading provider of cloud connectivity and collaboration services, will highlight new approaches to mobile customer service at this year’s Mobile Show.
As the GCC takes a step into the next era of mobility into citizen engagement and smart governance, initiatives are being rolled out across the region to offer advanced mobile services to enhance customer service. The UAE government is now looking at mobile apps to further increase productivity in government services.
“There is a gap in the market,” said Dominic Cross, LogMeIn’s Senior Director of Enterprise Sales, EMEA. “Customers in the UAE are seeking simple ways to engage with mobile service providers, yet today’s experience is too often limited to costly in-person support options.. Our services are designed to give operators a modern approach to mobile customer engagement, one that benefits consumers and operators, alike.”
LogMeIn will highlight its flagship customer service offerings, including BoldChat, a mobile-optimized live chat and multichannel engagement solution, as well as Rescue, a remote support solution used by dozens of the world’s leading mobile operators, including Vodafone, to remotely trouble shoot smartphones and tablets. .
At the upcoming Mobile Show, Cross will discuss the changing face of mobility in the Middle East and the industries that are being engaged via mobile.
“The UAE has the added advantage because of its advanced digital landscape and the readiness of its citizens to accept the latest technology. The proliferation of mobile devices in the region enables businesses and government to optimize mobile engagement,” added Cross.
The Mobile Show takes place from May 13th – 14th at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
