Middlesex University Dubai, London's first and only university campus in the UAE, has hosted its 6th Annual Health Day with the theme of "The sky is my limit, what's yours?" The event was part of the university’s ongoing campaign to promote fitness, health and nutrition amongst its students and staff.
The day-long programme was held at the University’s campus in Knowledge Village, Dubai. At the event, hundreds of participants were able to get involved in a wide range of health-related activities, and were able to have their blood pressure, blood sugar levels and BMI levels tested; taste a range of healthy foods and test personal care products; take free trial classes in Zumba, Crossfit and MMA and receive a customised personal diet plan. Alongside the event, a programme of seminars was held where top health professionals gave presentations on fitness and health related topics.
This event was organised by Middlesex Univesity Dubai's Student Activities Department. Ms Dragana Symons, Student Activities Manager, said that "We are passionate about promoting healthy living within our student community, and this event has gone a long way to show our students how important it is to eat healthily, take exercise and live well.”
