Dubai, United Arab Emirates, March 16, 2014: Acer announced the availability of brand new Acer C205 LED Pocked projector with outstanding a high brightness of 150lm for customers in Europe. With two powerful 2W speakers the new projector delivers an impressive sound to match its clear, crisp visuals offering users a professional movie theatre in the palm of their hands. Whether it’s for business or personal use the C205 is small enough for users to take with them wherever they go.

Compact but Powerful

The C205 portable projector weighs just 0.3kg and measures 144 x 108 x 27mm allowing users to carry and use with efficiency and ease. Projection on the move is further supported by the C205’s built in battery, the Acer Power Bank, which removes the need for cables and offers users up to two hours operating time.

Outfitted with a USB port, users can enjoy multimedia content, including photos, audio and video directly from smartphone or tablet. The projector also has an HDMI® port for connecting to PCs, game consoles as well as Blu-ray and DVD players. To save time the Acer Instant Pack allows the projector to start quickly and to be packed as soon as it’s unplugged. So whether users are showing off the latest movies to friends or preparing to present a new business idea to their boss, the C205 offers a quick, no hassle solution.

Optional Wireless Projection

Users can also playback photos, music and streaming video from all compatible mobile devices, including Android, iOS and Windows smartphones, tablets and notebooks using the Acer MHL wireless adapter. The projector displays content from a MHL-supported smartphone and charges it simultaneously. With Mirroring Display, the C205 can directly project from all Android 4.2 and Window 8.1 devices, MHL compatible. Friends don’t need to feel left out either as with Acer eDisplay the projector splits the screen allowing for multiple users to display their content.

Long Life Span

The Acer C205 has a long LED lifespan of 20,000 hours in standard mode and up to 30,000 hours in ExtremeECO mode, which dims the light source to 30 percent of full power, lowering the total cost of ownership. To further conserve system life and energy, the projector automatically shuts down if it doesn’t receive a signal input for a user-selected time period.
