Dubai Police, USA Armed Forces and Government of Qatar are amongst ASIS global customers.
Dubai – ASIS Boats, one of the foremost worldwide Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat (RHIB) manufacturers, announces the launch of the ASIS Inboard Jet Amphibious range, the world’s first amphibious boats targeting the leisure and recreational market. The worldwide launch of the boat takes place at this week’s Dubai International Boat Show. The high-performance, high-capacity boat, constructed with a solid, shaped hull and flexible tubes at the gunwale, and powered by Sealegs® amphibious systems which consists of motorised, retractable and steerable wheels, powering the boat with off-water capabilities and able to be driven out of the water and deployed into the water without any hassle or need for a ramp.
The ASIS RHIB has served military, police and search and rescue purposes for many years. Today, the product is being made available for boat lovers and enthusiasts who are looking for a fast, sturdy and easily deployable boating solution.
“The boating leisure and recreational market is growing rapidly in the UAE and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and we see huge growth potential for our RHIB boats this year,” said Roy Nouhra, president of ASIS Boats. “We believe that our investment in building boats for military solutions will have a positive spillover into the recreational market as our boats are very safe, maneuverable, fast, and most unique of all, amphibious.”
“The ASIS Inboard Jet Amphibious boat is capable of crawling up and down steep grades of loose rocks, soft sand and deployable in very shallow water, which makes it a perfect recreational craft.”
ASIS Boats, which is a part of the Solico Group of Companies, incorporated in Dubai in 1966, is one of the top three global RHIB manufacturers, focused on providing customers – including the USA army – with customised boats equipped with innovation including reserve buoyancy, natural deflection of spray and lateral stability.
“All of our boats are manufactured 100 percent in Dubai and then exported to countries around the world. We have a worldwide distribution and support network with headquarters in UAE, UK and USA,” added Nouhra.
