TIMEZ5 declares February family month, celebrating it as the center point of a healthy society.

CALGARY, CANADA, FEBRUARY 9th, 2014: The Canadian celebration is going global.  TIMEZ5 Global Inc., the creators of the world’s first physiological prayer mat, winner of the GIES family award from HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, is celebrating the family this whole month.

Although Family Day started in Canada, it is celebrated globally on the third Monday of February.  Nader Sabry, CEO-Founder of TIMEZ5 says, “Such a celebration is too important to keep isolated.  It stands for very important principles that are not just shared as a stationary holiday, but are directly aligned with Muslim values”

Family members buy gifts for each other and simply spend time bonding.

The celebration was founded in the province of Alberta in 1990, reflecting the family values brought by the founders of Alberta.  Other places have followed such as British Columbia, first observing in 2013, and it is also celebrated on different dates in different places globally.
