Italian Luxury Interiors 2013 November 11 – 14 2013 Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai www.italianluxuryinteriors.com UAE October 29 2013: Italy is well placed to offer luxury concepts and products to the Middle East where Dubai leads as the regional centre of luxury product consumption, according to Ferdinando Fiore, Italian Trade Commissioner in the UAE. Speaking ahead of a planned exhibition of Italian interiors in Dubai in November (11-14 2013), Fiore said that the Middle East is a prime destination for luxury goods. Citing a new study shared by Fondazione Altagamma (the Italian luxury goods industry trade association) Fiore suggested that Dubai alone commands around 30 per cent of the region's luxury goods market while the entire Middle East is growing at a steady pace in terms of its luxury goods consumption. “Italy has consistently maintained its position as a leading exporter and manufacturer and exporter to the world, including to the UAE. As the leading custodian of promoting and maintaining business and cultural ties with the host country, the United Arab Emirates, we are offering the superior skills and artisan abilities of Italian manufacturers and designers to the UAE with this exhibition,” said Fiore. The objective of this exclusive event is to promote state-of-the Italian art decoration and furnishing craftsmanship, synonymous with high quality and luxury, focusing on the concept of the ‘Home.' Organised from November 11 to 14 at Dubai's Madinat Jumeirah, the exhibition is expected to attract trade buyers, design and architecture consultants and real estate professionals, lovers of the ‘Made in Italy' brand, discerning buyers and art & crafts collectors, architects, art gallery and creative business owners, as well as those looking for exclusive Italian products and designs for their homes. The event returns to Dubai for the second time after a successful showing in 2011 at the same venue. The inaugural event was held in 2010 in Abu Dhabi's Emirates Palace. The four day exhibition will be inaugurated on November 11 2013 with an opening ceremony in the presence of VIPs and guests from the United Arab Emirates. The upcoming Italian Luxury Interiors 2013 is organised by the Italian Trade Commission, Trade Promotion Section of the Italian Embassy, the leading government agency responsible for building and enhancing trade relations and business between Italy and UAE in co-operation with ARTEX and CNA, the National Confederation of Crafts and Small & Medium Enterprises.
