A truly spooky affair at Al Tamimi Stables

Dubai, UAE, 10 October 2013  Al Tamimi Stables will be hosting one of the most anticipated festivals of the year for Dubai residents, tourists and families: Halloween! The celebration will be split into two occasions: the Best Halloween Costume Competition on Saturday 26th October and a Pumpkin Carving Competition on Thursday 31st October, the eve of Halloween, from 9am to 6pm.

On 26th October, visitors can arrive in style at Al Tamimi Stables dressed in their Halloween costumes, which could be anything from butterflies and pirates to superheroes, and participate in the Best Halloween Costume Competition. The guests with the most interesting costume will win exciting prizes. The Al Tamimi Stables team will also be dressed in quirky Halloween attire and involve families in various activities, such as the adventurous Trick or Treat Treasure Hunt.

Al Tamimi Stables will also host a Pumpkin Carving Competition on the day of Halloween (31st October) for visitors to bring out their creative side when they transform pumpkins into Jack-o-lanterns. They will enjoy spending time in the lush farm land where there'll be an abundance of Halloween games taking place, including apple bobbing.

Al Tamimi Stables has a strong focus on the development of the community and aims to bring individuals from different cultures together for the Halloween celebrations. Another initiative by Al Tamimi Stables is the unique ‘Heroes Programme' that fuses the school curriculum with active, outdoor and experimental learning. The programme educates children about the environment, sustainable development and care for all living things. As part of the Heroes programme, children receive the titles of Green Hero, Creativity Hero, Sports Hero, Horse Hero and Animal Care Hero, depending on the activity. The initiative enhances communication skills, critical thinking and teamwork, all vital for the overall development of every child. The Pumpkin Carving Competition is centered around the ‘Creativity Hero'. Additionally, participants will be rewarded with stamps and certificates.
