SHARJAH RAMADAN FAIR TO HOST TAGALOG ISLAMIC LECTURE TODAY (THURSDAY)

Sharjah, 31 July 2013: As part of the lecture series being organized during the ongoing Ramadan & Eid Fair, Expo Centre Sharjah will host a speech by Al Shaikh Eisa Jaffer in Tagalog on Thursday (August 1).

Al Shaikh Eisa Jaffer's lecture on the topic ‘Islam is the way to Deliverance' will target the expatriate population in the UAE from the Philippines and will commence at 11 pm at the conference hall of Expo Centre Sharjah.

The first in the series of lectures was held on July 25, when the Ramadan & Eid Fair hosted Zafarul Hasan Madni who spoke in Urdu about ‘The price of the paradise'.

Other scholars who are taking part in the series include Al Shaikh Dr. Mohammed Ghaith Al Ghaith (in Arabic) and Al Shaikh Ehab Nadir (in English).

Other attractions at the fair include the taste of Ramadan week, heritage village, free heath checkup, workshops and quiz contests, among others.

During Eid days, there will be additional events like adventure activities, magic shows, cartoon characters, Arabic shows and folk dances.

The show is open for visitors from 8.30pm to 1.30am during Ramadan and on weekends (Thursdays & Fridays) from 8.30pm to 2am. During Eid holidays the visiting hours will be from 5pm to 11pm. Admission is Free.
