Our Commitment to Your Mission.

The measure of any nation is found in the courage of those who stand to protect it. This year, as we mark the 50th Armed Forces Unification Day, we honour the men and women who have transformed a founding vision into one of the most capable, respected and formidable defence forces in the world.
On May 6th, 1976, our Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul in peace, and the visionary rulers who stood beside him, made a decision that would define a nation forever. From that day, a single unified force took shape across land, air and sea, bound together under one vision, one leadership and one unbreakable commitment to this nation. They understood, with rare and prophetic clarity, that unity is not only a sentiment. It is a strategy. And fifty years on, that strategy stands as one of the most consequential decisions ever made in the history of the United Arab Emirates.
Now more than ever, we understand the true weight of what was decided on that day. The men and women who serve in our Armed Forces carry that weight on our behalf, quietly, resolutely, without condition. They hold the line so that everything behind it can flourish. They sacrifice so that this nation may continue to rise. And in a region where the value of peace has never been felt more deeply, their service is not simply honourable. It is sacred.
To every member of the UAE Armed Forces, those serving on the front lines and those serving in the shadows, those whose sacrifice is known and those whose dedication will never be fully seen, we see you. We honour you. And we are humbled by you.
To our martyrs, and to the families who honour their memory with such grace and dignity: your loss is this nation’s loss. And your loved ones’ courage is this nation’s strength.
“To serve the UAE Armed Forces is not a privilege we take lightly. Every decision we make, every capability we develop, is driven by the weight of that responsibility.”
On this occasion, we express our deepest respect and admiration to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, a leader whose resolve has been the compass of this nation through every challenge, and His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, whose direction has placed the UAE at the forefront of global defence capability, sovereign confidence and national purpose. Under their collective leadership, the UAE Armed Forces have earned a global reputation for excellence, precision and resolve that few nations of any size can match.
On behalf of everyone at EDGE Group, I say this with absolute conviction: to serve the UAE Armed Forces is not a privilege we take lightly. It is a responsibility that defines who we are, what we build, and why we exist. And every capability we deliver, every system we advance, every solution we place in the hands of those who protect this nation, reflects that commitment completely.
Our mission is to ensure that the UAE Armed Forces are never outpaced, never outmatched, and never without the tools they need to defend this nation’s sovereignty on its own terms. That mission feels more urgent today than at any point in our history. And we carry it with the full seriousness it deserves.
We stand ready, not behind our Armed Forces, but alongside them, today and in every challenge that lies ahead.
