The first course sets the tone with a traditional welcome, served family style for everyone to share with Ajwa and Medjoul dates, followed by a seasonal salad dressed with olive oil and lemon. A Ramadan bread basket then takes centre stage, alongside familiar favourites: mixed olives, labneh finished with hummus, and baba ganoush topped with pepper paste. The course is rounded out with comforting touches such as stuffed grape leaves, and burnt butter with tulum cheese.
The pace softens with soup, served to share, offering either a traditional lentil soup with butter, cumin, and sweet paprika, or a soup of the day.
