Dubai Land Department participates in AccessAbilities Expo 2025 to promote inclusion and integration within the real estate sector

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 06 October 2025: Reaffirming its commitment to supporting and empowering People of Determination in all their real estate affairs, Dubai Land Department (DLD) is participating in the AccessAbilities Expo, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, which will run until 8 October at Dubai World Trade Centre.
During the event, Dubai Land Department is offering 25 job opportunities dedicated to People of Determination across its external centres. This initiative reflects the DLD’s commitment to providing them with opportunities to integrate into the workplace and contribute their skills and expertise in serving customers and the community. It also embodies DLD’s institutional values and ongoing efforts to support Dubai’s vision of establishing itself as a disability-friendly city, with an inclusive and accessible urban environment and infrastructure for all.
A Dedicated Service Ecosystem for People of Determination
DLD is also showcasing initiatives and services designed specifically for People of Determination to raise awareness among customers and increase engagement. Among these is “Barwa”, a joint initiative with the Community Development Authority in Dubai, which provides an integrated real estate service ecosystem for senior citizens and People of Determination.
The initiative encompasses several key components, including, ‘Al Karani’, a personal assistant assigned to People of Determination to follow up on their real estate transactions and provide necessary support, ‘Al Kaitoob,’ a platform that enables them to manage their properties easily from their homes or any location through a user-friendly solution tailored to meet their needs, ‘Al Taresh,’ a fully equipped mobile unit that delivers on-site real estate services directly to their residences, and ‘Al Mersal,’Dubai Land Department participates in AccessAbilities Expo 2025 to promote inclusion and integration within the real estate sector a dedicated digital support team available through the call centre to provide prompt and efficient assistance.
Partnerships with Real Estate Developers
In addition, Dubai Land Department is collaborating with several leading real estate developers participating in the event, including Emaar Properties, DAMAC Properties, and Binghatti Properties to offer exclusive benefits that encourage People of Determination to invest in the real estate market. These include discounts ranging between 15% and 20% on residential apartment prices, fully customised unit setups to ensure maximum comfort and accessibility, as well as flexible payment plans that ease financial commitments and promote property ownership, among other advantages.
DLD emphasises that its participation in the Expo also aims to inspire developers to adopt universal design principles in their upcoming projects, reinforcing Dubai’s position as a global model for cities that embrace diversity and inclusivity.
DLD invites visitors and stakeholders to explore its initiatives and services firsthand and to engage in constructive dialogue that aligns with Dubai’s ambitions and vision for inclusivity within the real estate ecosystem.
