Dubai, UAE, 27 March 2025:
Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) has announced a line-up of entertainment shows and workshops at its museums to celebrate Eid Al Fitr. This initiative forms part of the Authority’s support for the ‘Eid in Dubai’ campaign, organised by Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office, which seeks to highlight the festive spirit across the emirate and showcase its vibrant cultural and social legacy.
Throughout the Eid holiday, visitors to the Etihad Museum can enjoy two engaging workshops titled ‘The Union Story’ and the ‘Unification of the Emirates,’ in addition to a series of guided tours that take them through the museum’s extensive collections. These experiences narrate the formation of the Union, its profound significance, and the founding of the UAE, while shedding light on its national identity.
From the second day of Eid, Dubai Culture will bring families to the Eid Trail at the Al Shindagha Museum, the UAE’s largest cultural museum. The trail invites visitors to discover the museum’s varied houses and pavilions, offering insights into the UAE’s history and traditions through artefacts, exhibits, films, and archival photographs. Guests can participate in interactive sessions celebrating Eid customs, while children enjoy a scavenger hunt for hidden gifts, redeemable at the Visitor Centre for souvenirs and special prizes.
