First global live in-person F&B event of 2021 is taking place under proven and stringent safety and hygiene protocols in coordination with local authorities
Dubai, UAE – 22 FEBRUARY 2021: The return of Gulfood – the most competitive global sourcing platform – and first live, in-person F&B event in almost 12 months, has come at a crucial time for the industry to reconnect, do business and reignite dialogue on the way forward, according to Camelicious, the UAE camel milk producer, which is eager to demonstrate its innovation to the world after a challenging year for business.
Following a challenging 12 months, Gulfood is back at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) for its 26th edition, from 21 – 25 February. Its ability to provide extensive business opportunities allowing F&B players to gather again and restart the year with confidence has captured global attention with participants from 85 countries eager to make up for lost time.
For a company like Camelicious, owners of the world’s largest camel farm, and manufacturers of products made from the 4,000 litres of milk it produces daily, Gulfood offers a valuable chance to meet and strengthen partnerships with existing clients, explore exciting business prospects with potential customers and showcase its innovative product line on a global stage.
“We are exhibiting a wide range of innovative products at Gulfood, introducing professionals from all over the world to the benefits and goodness of camel milk and its many products. After a challenging year, this is the time for growth, and it is important for the F&B industry to come together under the Gulfood banner to promote business and foster discussion around the growth of our sector,” said Saeed Bin Subaih, General Manager of Camelicious.
In addition to the wide-ranging participation of the who’s who of the global F&B industry across 20 exhibition halls during the five-day show, participants will also discover how the industry has transformed with innovative products and technology geared to address changing consumer behaviour and adapt to popular trends including organic, natural, and healthy products, contactless transactions, plant-based protein, sophisticated and proven providence ingredients, and environmentally friendly packaging.
DWTC has proven its ability to curate the safest in-person business environment and deliver world-class events with the highest safety protocols. This was evidenced with the 40th anniversary edition of GITEX Technology Week, the only live in-person tech event in 2020. Held in December, the event welcomed tens of thousands of visitors with 96% of local and international attendees recording a ‘safe’ or ‘very safe’ experience.
With product sampling and food handling such a vital interaction at a global F&B event, those protocols have been further intensified for Gulfood 2021, under strict guidance and coordination with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and Dubai Municipality, to ensure the safest possible business conditions.
