Mai Dubai awarded ‘Grade A – Gold' rating by Dubai Municipality's Food Safety Department for 2nd consecutive year

27 May 2020 - Mai Dubai, a bottled water company fully owned by the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), has been awarded ‘Grade A – Gold’ rating by Dubai Municipality’s Food Safety Department for the second consecutive year. The Department commended Mai Dubai’s implementation of the highest quality standards and food safety management systems and processes.
HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Chairman of Mai Dubai said, “We are proud that Mai Dubai bottled drinking water company has re-qualified for ‘Grade A – GOLD’ from Dubai Municipality’s Food Safety Department for the second consecutive year. This is a testament of implementing the highest standards in quality and the best food safety management systems and processes.
Establishing Mai Dubai was in line with the directives of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to provide potable water according to the highest international standards.”

In 2015, Mai Dubai was awarded by Dubai Municipality for the best factory and had won ‘Grade A’ rating in food safety the same year. Mai Dubai initially achieved Grade A+ rating, followed by A++.
