Dubai, United Arab Emirates,16 March 2020: Food People recently hosted their fourth F&B Leaders Dinner at Folly by Nick & Scott in the UAE. This event brings together industry leaders and professionals in order to discuss opportunities and challenges posed by the dynamic food & beverage industry, both regionally and globally. The event enables Food People to foster a community of innovation and growth to help shape the future of the food & beverage industry.
As the region’s first and only food & beverage specific talent solutions business, Food People provides strategic solutions for the end to end supply chain of the industry.
Managing Partner, Greg Wright, describes what enables Food People to add genuine value for businesses: “our approach is personal and people-centric. We address each business’ unique growth needs by partnering with diverse companies from globally recognised organisations to local start-ups and SME’s to offer talent solutions with all parts of the F&B ecosystem, from farm to fork.”
The UAE food industry is ever evolving. Alpen Capital, in its latest report, stated that the UAE’s food consumption may grow from 8.7 million metric tonnes in 2018 to 10.3 million metric tonnes by 2023 due to population increase, international tourist arrivals and high disposable income. With these factors likely to drive growth in the food & beverage industry, Managing Partner, Luke Truin, explains: “Food People was born from a genuine passion for the industry. We work with diverse businesses and industry leaders to collect valuable insight that we can bring to the table in every endeavour. That’s why we are able to offer agile, flexible solutions to businesses to support the growth of the F&B industry.”
