Organised by Sabco Sports in partnership with Tough Mudder Inc. and Dubai Festival City, this fun obstacle challenge is designed around the values of courage, personal accomplishment, teamwork and fun. Whether you are a fitness fanatic, adrenaline junkie, looking to take on a new challenge, or wanting to sign up with a team for a team building exercise to remember, it’s time to join Mudder Nation!
Tough Mudder UAE will present both new and signature obstacles this year that include; Black Widow (a series of 30’ long elevated tightropes suspended over water) and Leap of Faith (commit to clearing a 6’ water-filled gap, then grab tight to the hanging rope net and don’t let go), whilst Pyramid Scheme, Mud Mile and Everest 2.0 will be amongst the fan favourites that make a welcome return to the Dubai Festival City course.
Nic Cartwright, Sabco Sports said: “We couldn’t be more excited to partner with the Dubai Fitness Challenge and be a part of the movement that encourages Dubai to become the most active city in the world. Tough Mudder is all about having fun with exercise and working with a team to overcome challenges so it is the perfect event for the final weekend of the 30x30 challenge which is based on these beliefs too.”
Samer Zabian, Director - Residential & Commercial Property, Al Futtaim Group Real Estate added: “Dubai Fitness Challenge has become a renowned event in Dubai’s calendar. It lives by its promise of making the entire city active for 30 days. Dubai Festival City has been the hub for the opening carnival and we are back again with a promise of being bigger and better. This year, in addition to the entire destination being active for 30 days, visitors and residents can also participate and test their teamwork at the biggest Tough Mudder celebration, in association with Sabco Sports and Tough Mudder Inc, as part of the closing weekend of the 30 x 30 Fitness Challenge.”
