The group decided to give the charitable donations that will be used for the benefit of students in both the Centers, in line with the Government’s ‘Year of Giving’ initiative announced by the UAE President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Along with the donations, Mr. Shahdadpuri also presented the Best Teacher’s Award to Ms. Sonia Creado of Al Noor Centre, for her outstanding contribution and dedication towards learning and development of the Centre’s students.

“It is our social responsibility to give back to society and to have a sustainable ecosystem by empowering those who are differently abled but determined children. With this initiative in mind, we at Nikai Group, are extemely glad to provide assistance the students of Al Noor Training Centre for Children with Special Needs, and the Rashid Centre for the Determined Ones.” said Mr. Shahdadpuri
“The great initiative launched by the UAE President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan by declaring 2017 as a ‘Year of Giving’ will help to aid more combined efforts of conglomerates and individuals in giving back to the society. At Nikai, we believe that it is our responsibility to be compassionate towards those in need. We all must ensure that we contribute towards community in every way we can. This sentiment resonates throughout our organization. I am fortunate to have like-minded colleagues, who also believe that initiatives, such as these, contribute towards the betterment of society we live in. These two Centers are doing a great job, and it gives us satisfaction in supporting them”, he added.
In December 2016, the UAE President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan declared 2017 as ‘The Year of Giving’ with three key pillars for ‘giving’ as the highlight - Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Volunteering and Serving the Nation.
The ‘Year of Giving’ was inspired by the ideals of generosity, which lie at the heart of the nation’s identity and the example of the country’s founding father, H.H. Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. The legacy of giving resonates even today in the policies established by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. These systems provide a comprehensive framework for humanity through initiatives, strategies, and programs intended to celebrate the virtues of giving and embed compassion in the heart of the nation.
