du Wellness Expert Participates in Townhall Session to Inspire Corporates to Participate in Dubai Fitness Challenge

Dr. Mansoor Anwar Habib discusses workplace wellness and the path to corporate happiness

Dubai, UAE, 7 October, 2017:  Responding to a call by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council for Dubai Government and Dubai Sports Council, du, recently held a special session for corporates at Meydan in Dubai to inspire corporates in the UAE to join the Dubai Fitness Challenge. The initiative is aimed to help Dubai become the most active city in the world.

The session was conducted by Dr. Mansoor Anwar Habib, Senior Director for Employee Wellness and Happiness at du, on October 5th, 2017, where he discussed workplace wellness and the path to corporate happiness. In particular, he spoke about how corporations can implement wellness programs and discussed du’s wellness programs that include marathons, its Biggest Winner Weight Loss Challenge, and sports tournaments among others.

At du, we have a wellness model and numerous wellness programs that we carry out throughout the year and we look to inspire other corporations to do the same,” said Dr. Mansoor Anwar Habib.Dubai Fitness Challenge starts on 20th October until 18th November 2017 Dubai Fitness Challenge has been established to encourage and support every one of all ages and fitness levels to make a positive change to their lifestyle and get fit in a variety of fun and challenging ways.
