Americana Foods and Ekhaa Society collaborates on 2,000 Iftar meals to orphans in Ramadan

Jeddah, KSA, 6 June, 2017: Americana Foods, is distributing 2,000 Iftar meals and gifts to underprivileged children during the holy month of Ramadan to orphanages around Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, as part of the charitable partnership between Americana Foods and Ekhaa for Orphans Care Society.
Every Friday, during the Ramadan period, over 500 Iftar meal boxes will be provided to foster the spirit of joint charitable, humanitarian cooperation between Ekhaa for Orphans Care Society and Americana Foods, one of the region’s biggest food brands. The Iftar meal boxes will contain chicken, rice, laban, water and dates.
Americana Foods will also take the initiative, collaborating with Ekhaa for Orphans Care Society and big Toys chain, to sponsor Eid gifts to the orphans at the end of Ramadan, in celebration of Eid Al Fitr.
Abdullah Al-Zahrani, Manager of Ekhaa for Orphans Care Society (Jeddah Branch) stated, “We are pleased to partner with Americana Foods and much appreciate their relentless efforts in supporting our charitable activities. Their contribution to provide meals to orphans all around Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and participate in the Society’s Iftar projects during Ramadan have been gratefully received.”
