Distinguished CSR Contribution Award for Panacea Medical & Wellness Centre

Dubai, January 16, 2017: Panacea Medical & Wellness Centre, a multi-specialty primary health care facility in Dubai, has received the Health Award for distinguished CSR contribution at the Annual Health Awards, jointly hosted by the Department of Economic Development (DED), Dubai and the HEALTH magazine, today.
The award was presented to Panacea Medical & Wellness Centre by His Excellency Humaid Al Qutami, Chairman of Board of Directors of Dubai Health Authority (DHA), at an event held at the Godolphin Ballroom, Emirates Towers Hotel in Dubai today. The initiative aims to celebrate outstanding contributions of individuals, companies and innovations in the healthcare industry.
Panacea Medical & Wellness Centre was recognised for spreading health awareness in and outside their workplace and making a contribution to save the environment.
Panacea Medical & Wellness Centre provides multi-specialty outpatient services and has been organising community service events aimed at preventive health education since inception. Located in Umm Hurair, Dubai, the centre has been operational since March 2011.
“Our philosophy is preventive health and we strive to educate our patrons about what they can do to prevent illnesses” said Sonia Satham, Director Corporate Communications, Panacea Medical & Wellness Centre. “We are very thankful for this award” she added.
The annual Health Awards recognises contributions in healthcare by organisations and individuals and is organised by the HEALTH Magazine and supported by the Department of Economic Development and Business Excellence awards, Dubai, UAE.
