Ministry of Health and Prevention announces Visiting Consultants Program for November

UAE, November 8, 2016 - The Ministry of Health and Prevention will host four Visiting Consultants from France, Belgium, Spain and Britain during the month of November 2016 to provide advisory, diagnostic and treatment services to patients in four UAE hospitals. The visits will take place in the following hospitals: Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Hospital in Ajman, Al Qassimi Hospital in Sharjah, Saqr Hospital in Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah Hospital.
The doctors will provide their expertise in various specialties including Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery, Cardiac Surgery, Urology and Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery.
Dr. Philippe Wicart, Professor at the Necker Sick-Kids University Hospital in Paris and a Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon, will be at Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Hospital in Ajman from November 13 to 17.
Dr. Jean-Luc Jansens, Head of Robotic Cardiac Surgery at the University Hospital Center of Namur, Belgium will be providing services in Al Qassimi Hospital in Sharjah from November 20 to 24.
Dr. Carlos Diuana, Director of the Urology Department at the Clinica Bruselas in Madrid Spain will be at Saqr Hospital in Ras Al Khaimah from November 27 and 30.
Meanwhile, Dr. Ramindar Dhillon, consultant for Ear Nose and Throat at London North West Healthcare in the United Kingdom will be in Fujairah Hospital from November 13 to 17.
